They allow for the uninterrupted transmission of optical signals while rotating around their shaft.The most cost and size efficient options are the single channel designs.Since fiber optic offers almost endless of bandwidth you can multiplex your required signals and run them through one fiber. There have 1 channel of optic. Also integrated 1 channel high-frequency signal,1 pulse signal & 2 lines 2A. It's using light signal transmission,no electromagnetic leakage good sealing,resistance to electromagnetic interference no contact transmission,no wear and tear .
